The following action was taken at the Southold Town Board of
Trustees meeting on March 25, 1998:
RESOLVED, that the $outhold Town Board of Trustees approve the
request for an Amendment to Permit %4818 to place a 4' X 20'
catwalk instead of a 4' X 25', a 3' X 20' ramp instead of a 3' X
15', and add a 4' X 6' section to attach to the 6' X 20' float.
Located: 70 Jackson Landing, Mattituck.
However, this does not constitute approval from any other
agencies.

the following activity:

Construct a 6 foot by 34 foot fixed pier, elevated
a minimum of 6 feet above the grade of the marsh,
a 4 foot by 10 ramp, and a 6 foot by 20 foot
float. The purpose of this project is to provide
adequate mooring facility.

As this is minor in nauure, authorization may be by Letter
of Permission. This is in accordance with currenu Federal
RegUlations governing work in navigable waters of the United
States. To accomplish the coordination required, prior to the
issuance of a Letter of Permission, your review of the enclosed
drawings is requested.
Pursuant to Section 307 (c) of the Coastal Zone Management
Act of 1972 as amended (16 U.S.C. 1465 (c) (3) (A)), the applicant
has certified that the activity complies with and will be
conducted in a ..manner that is consistent with the approved State
coastal zone management program.
To allow for the timely processing of the subject
application, your comments are requested within 15 days of the
date of this letter.

Dear Ms. Hart,
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its Regular Meeting held on October 29, 1997, regarding
the above matter:
WHEREAS, CATHERINE V. HART, applied to the Southold Town
Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland
Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated October 2,
1997, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said application on October 29, 1997, at which time
all interested personswere given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 97-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the application of
CATHERINE V. HART to construct a single family dwelling, a 4'
X 25' catwalk, a 3' X 15' ramp, a 6' X 20' float and place
haybales during construction at 8' contour line and a non-turf,
non-vegetated buffer between 8' contour line and water.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this detezmination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
'and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.

Advisory Council held Monday, October 27, 1997:

RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL
with STIPULATIONS of the WetJand Permit application of CATHERINE
HART 113-4-3 to construct a single family dwelling out to Jackson Landing;
construct 3' wide catwalk leading to dock: 42.x 34~ catwalk; 32 × 52 ramp and
62 x 20~ float.
