The following action was taken at the Southold Town Board of
Trustees meeting on November 18, 1997:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees approve the
request for an Amendment to Permit $4678 to replace within 8"
approx. 90' of existing bulkhead, remove and replace in
kind/inplace 2- 15' returns on either end, ~emove and replace
inkind/inplace an existing 7' wide timber walk adjacent to
bulkhead and the deletion of fill on this project. The Board
also approves the Transfer of Permit $4678 from James Mc
Burnie to Robert Profeta.
However, this does not constitute approval from any other
agencies.

revised project plan indicating the bulkhead to be removed within 8".
From speaking with Diane, I understand that this application will be treated as a transfer and
amendment of Grandfather Permit No. 4678 (copy enclosed) issued to the prior owners of the
property, Mr. and Mrs. James McBurnie, for 65' of timber bulkhead. Accordingly, a check
written in the amount of $50 is enclosed.

As per the Board's directive at their regular meeting of September 24~, the bulkhead
replacement for Mr. Profeta will be a "remove and replace, in kind/in place", rather than a
"replacement within 18 inches." Accordingly, would you kindly withdraw our wetland
application and refund the $150 fees which were submitted therewith.
