The Department has reviewed the plans and objects to the deck being constructed over the face of the bluff. Construction as proposed would cause the elimination of existing vegetation which serves to reduce erosion on the bluff. The Department recommends the plans be amended to show the deck will be constructed landward of the bluff so as to eliminate this concern. Please send revised plans to my attention.
