Dear Mr. Brown;
Thank you for your recent submittal of the revised plans for this
project. The Department has reviewed the plans and objects to
the deck being constructed over the face of the bluff. Construction
as proposed would cause the elimination of existing vegetation
which serves to reduce erosion on the bluff.
The Department recommends the plans be amended to show the deck
will be constructed landward of the bluff so as to eliminate this
concern.

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
The following recommendation was made at the meeting of the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council held May 21, 1998:

Moved by Scott Hilary, seconded by Kenneth Meskill, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of
DISAPPROVAL of the Coastal Erosion Permit application of
WEISBROD 15-3-6 to expand the top most-landing of bluff
constructing a 12' x 18' platform with a tall fence around it.
