Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The following action was taken by the Board o~ Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on Aprit 30, 1997 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS., Proper-T Permit Services on behalf o~ WILLIA~ LATHA~
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the.
provisions Of the Wetland Ordinance'of the Town of Southold,
application dated March lB, 1997,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a P,~blic Hearing was held by the Town T~asteea with
respect to said application on April 30, 1997, at whichtime all
interested persons were given an opportunity to behea~d, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have persenallyviewed and art
familiar with the premises in ques~on and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning' this application, and,
~, the structure complies with. the stana~rd set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Cod~,
WHEREAS, the Board b~ determined that the pro~ect as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,.
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to
construct stairs from top of bluff to beach, with 4'X 8'
platform at top; stairs 4''wide with run of 31' -9", and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this detez%~nation should not be
considered a determination made for any other Depar~Lent or
Agency which may also have an applicatian pendin~ for the'same
or similar pro-ject.
Permit to construct .project will expire two years from the date
it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit
issued within six months of ~he date of this notification.
Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified
upon completion of said project.
FEES: None.

The NYSDEC requires that thc stairs proposed/n this project bo a mirdmum of three and one-
half feet above grade over the face of thc bluff. Accordingly, the Project Plan and Section
View drawings have bom revised and new copies arc enclosed.

scription, have been revised and new copies are also enclosed.
