The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
du~ing its regular meeting held on December 18, 1996 rega~din~
the above makter:
WHEREAS, En-Consultantg on behalf of MARSHAL JOHNSON applied to
the Southold Town Trustees fora pe~t under' the provisions_ of
the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of So~thold~ ap~)licatio~ 8ate~
November 21, 1996, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southot~ Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their finding~ and
reco~m~endations, and
WHEREAS, a Public He, ring was held by the Town Trusteeswith
respect to said application on December t8, 1996, at which time
all interested persons were given an opportu~it~ to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS. the Board members ha~personally viewe~an~
familiar with the prua.ises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS. the Board hasconsid~re~allthe tes~%mony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure, complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 37-t8 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project ~ proposed
will not affect the health, safety and gene=alwelfare of the
people of the town.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,.
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Pez~it to
construct a. 34+/- 1. f. retaining wall landward of existing
deteriorated concrete wall on west side of house. Construct 6
1.f. return along westerly property line. Backiill witt~ iQ c.y.
of clean sand to he trucked in from uptan~ soumce. AlL roof
