Association PO Box 542 Greenport, N.Y. 11944 Re: Application No. 12-88-38.1-1-22 Dear Mr. Geideman : The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during their regular meeting held on March 23, 1989 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, John Geideman ~n behalf of Crescent Beach Condominium ASsociation applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated December 12, 1988 , and WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southoid Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on March 23, 1989 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and WHEREAS~ the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that John Geideman ON BEHALF Crescent Beach Condominium Association BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE WETLAND ORDINANCE TO: Construct 150' x 4' fixed dock, 10' x 3' ramp and 6' x 20' float on property located at foot of Maple Lane, East Marion, N.Y. This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed if work has-not commenced by said date. Fees must be paid and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project. Please take notice that this declaration should not be considered a determination made for any other department or agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Box 416 East Marion, NY 11939 Dear Mr. Geideman: Re: F-89-176 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers/New York District Permit Application - Crescent Beach Condo Association Town of Southold ReQuest for Additional Information Pursuant to 15 CFR 930.58, the following data and information is necessary to enable the Department of State to adequately assess the coastal zone effects of this proposed project. Please submit a copy of the Corps of Engineers permit application including plan and cross-section drawings of the proposed dock. In addition please send a project location map along with clear, recent photos of the project site. Pursuant to 15 CFR 930.60(a), the review of your consistency certification will begin after we receive and determine that the necessary data and information is adequate to assess coastal zone effects. Any additional information which you believe will facilitate our consistency review of this project would be appreciated. A copy of this letter has been sent to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. New York 11971 The Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council made the following recommendations at its regular meeting held Tuesday, March 9, 1989: RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations Wetland Application No. 12-7-88-81-1 of Paradise Point Association to maintenance dredge 500 c.y. of materail from mouth of basin.off Southold Town Harbor with spoil to be placed as shown on submitted plan. The Council approves provided the spoil is not placed in spoil area I1 (other side of bulkhead) and that the applicant limit any spartina damage to an absolute minimum. Ba sin Road, Southold. RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval of Wetland Application No. 12-88-38 1-1-22 of Crescent Beach Condo As}ociation to construct a fixed dock 150' x 4', a i0' x 3' ramp to a 6' x 20' float. L/ Foot of Maple Lane, East Marion. RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval of Wetland Application No. 1-5-139-1-21 of Zahra Benz to bulid (replace) catwalk, ramp and floating dock. 575 Westview Drive, Mattituck. RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations Wetland Application No. 12-4-88-90-1-16 of Thomas Prokop to construct a boat dock, retaining wall and floating dock. The Council recommends approval provided that the applicant removes the pipe located at the side of the dock leading into the water. The Council suggests applicant reroute to a drywell. Little Peconic Bay Lane, Southold. RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with a stipulation of Wetland Application No. 3-1-89-23-1-14.6 of Anthony and Rosemary Bolletino to construct accessory swimming pool and tennis court. The Council approves but has serious concerns about the placement of the pool and its proximity to the ground- water. The Council suggests that perhaps the applicant should be required to build the pool with the bottom at least 1' above groundwater. Main Road, East Marion. The Council made an inspection of 79-5-20.5 (Ray Kerister) to determine whether the project was within the Trustees jurisdiction as requested by the Southold Town Planning Board. The Council advises that the parcel contains freshwater wetlands and marsh areas and is within the Trustees jursidiction.
