The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated
and received in our office on September 3, 1998 and determined
that your proposal to renovate the existing house with additions
and pool, as depicted in the survey, to be out of the Trustees
jurisdiction under Chapter 97 of the Wetland Code.
However, any activity within 75' of the Wetland line requires a
permit from this office.
This determination is not a determination from any other agencyo

Dear Mr. Kmpski:
Attached please find a site plan prepared by Joseph Ingegno, last dated 18 August 1998,
depicting work proposed by Stella and Rene Vanguestaine that will occur landward of the
Coastal Erosion Hazard Line and more than 75' landward of the line of mean high water along
Long Island Sound. As this work would thus occur beyond the jurisdiction of the Southold
Trustees pursuant to Southold Town Code Chapter 37 and Chapter 97, respectively, I
respectfully request that you issue a letter of non-jurisdiction for the project.
For your reference, I have attached photographs of the property and existing dwelling. Should
you have any questions regarding this request, please do not hesitate to contact me at your
earliest convenience.
