Dear Mr. DiSapio & Ms. Perez:
This letter is a follow up to your letter of December 13, 2022, along with photographs.
The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove the four (4) problematic trees
that are,located on your property which trees are within 100' of the wetlands, as
reviewed and seen by Trustee President Glenn Goldsmith.
The Board of Trustees determined that these four (4) trees may be removed. No permit
will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

As requested,this is to inform the Southold Board of Town Trustees of our desire to remove all
dead trees at the advice of a tree expert.
Four trees were deemed dead and in danger of falling on structures and roadway. The trees
will be removed by a licensed arborist with the utmost care of removal. They have been
neglected for many years. We would like to accomplish this as soon as possible as a significant
storm could cause damage to these structures on the property.
We welcome and grant permission by your office to visit the property to expedite and validate
our request. Please contact us as we would like to accompany whoever visits our property.
Attached please find photos of said trees.
