We returned your check #1905 as it was outdated and requested you forward a new check in the amount of $25.00 so that the Certificate of Occupancy could be issued. According to the Code of the Town of Southold Chapter 100-284 it is unlawful to occupy or use a building without a Certificate of Occupancy. In order to avoid legal action, please forward your check in the amount of $25.00 immediately so that the Certificate of Occupancy can be issued and this violation can be resolved.
