Located: 2225 Calves Neck Road, Southold. SCTM# 1000-70-4-45.3 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposal is INCONSISTENT with LWRP Policies and with the LWRP. 1. The proposed construction is located within a FEMA VE EI 14 Flood Zone. An increase in development on the lot further seaward is not supported. Structures within these areas are subject to loss from tidal surges during storms, including hurricanes. The placement of structures in these hazard areas is not supported by Policy 4. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
