11/05/22 Public informational meeting on big house legislation at Mattituck Laurel
Library with panelists Supervisor Russell, Councilmember Sarah Nappa,
architect Alta Indelman. Also in attendance were ZBBA Board Members
Acampora and Planamento
11/15/22 Meeting with zoning consultants Sean Suder and Sarah Brown with
Planning Director and staff and Chief Building Inspector re: zoning code
updates. I distributed a list of recommended code changes proposed by
the ZBA and a spreadsheet of all code interpretations rendered by the
Board of Appeals, starting with the Walz decision(a de facto pyramid
law) in 2022
11/15/22 Town Board work session re: presentation by consultants on zoning
code updates and discussion about big house legislation
11/16/22 Interdepartmental Meeting re: applications with concurrent jurisdiction
11/29/22 Town Board work session and executive session re: 2023 ZBA required
annual training and proposal to reduce wait time for public hearings
before the ZBA
