Instructions
This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted ma ~m~mmm to the Building Inspec~
tor with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic featu res.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or
topographic featu res.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent informa-
tion required to prepare a certificate.

Dear Mr. Knell:
As per your request for a determination on the need
of a Wetland Permit, regarding the construction of a
swimming pool on your property in Southold, please be
advised that the Trustees have reviewed your plan on
June 20, 1985.
The Board determined that no permit will be necessary,
subject to the adoption of a resolution on June 26, 1985
with the following provisions:
1. During excavation the fill must be contained so
that it does not wash into the creek.
2. No backwash from the pool is to be discharged
into the creek.
3. The area adjacent to the bulkhead is to be
stabilized with a suitable ground cover for
environmental stability.
If you have any questions, or need additional
information, please do not hesitate calling this office at the
number listed above.

Gentlemen,
Attached, please find a building permit application for SCTN
Lots #92, 93, 94, & 95, "Cedar Beach Park", Southold L.I., N.Y,
to construct an inground swimming pool, ground level walkway, and
fence around the pool area as per town requirements. Also, please
find attached DEC letter of compliance for the proposed work.
Since the pool construction will take place landward of a substantial
man made structure the existing functional bulkhead greater than 100"
in length constructed prior to September 20, 1977, and since any
re-grading of the fill from the pool will be contained behind the
existing functional bulkhead on said property, we request that a
waiver of the town policy in existance today be granted to Mr/.Knell
on this permit for the construction outline above and detailed on the
attached survey.
