Tax Map 91000-18-3-6.11 N.Y Dear Mr. Sorenson: During a review of our files, it was noted that the above Building Permit has expired and a Certificate of Occupancy has not been issued. According to the Code of the Town of Southold Article XXVIII and 100-284 a building permit is needed for construction of a new dwelling. It is unlawful to occupy a dwelling until a Certificate of Occupancy has been issued. The final inspection has been made. Your check that we have is outdated. We return it herewith. We have received the Underwriters certificate and the Plumbers Certification, but we still do not have the final Board of Health Approval. Please send us a new check in the amount of $25.00 along with the final Board of Health Approval so that we may issue the Certificate of Occupancy.
