2.F~nal approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equal).
3Approval of electrmal installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercml buddings, Industrial buddings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certlhcate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.

After our chance meetmg w~th you on 2-17-88 the Town Trustees d~scussed your
apparent vlolatmn of the Town Wetlands Ordmance. We offer the followmg m
addition to anything the Bay Constable may reqmre, as we are requestmg h~scon-
current review of this matter.
We offer the following to be done w~th~n two weeks or sonner ~f possible:
Place a double row of staked-~nterlocklng haybales at the bottom of the
hill ahead of the rocks, lin the alternative and probably better would be a row
haybales w~th a geo-textde under-hner. ]
2. Remove sxlt and fines from the edge of the wetland manually at the d~rect~on
of a Trustee/Bay Constable.
3. Cease devegetat~on on r~ght of way until further review of th~s Board.
4. Submit an apphcat~on for a permit ~nclud~ng: A. Planting scheme for all areas w~thm 75' of edge of wetland.
B. Proposal for run-off &scharge from front of house to wetland.
C. Detailed descmptmn of water flow pattern from wetland through d~tch
headmg east.
D. The ultlmate fate of surface water m th~s d~tch (sound, marsh, pond,
ground d~spersmn, etc.) including a detaded location.
E. Detailed h~story of the d~tch and any other operations on rote w~thm

Based on the info~mation you have submitted, the New ~erX State Departmeut of ~nv~ron-
mental Conservation has determined that the __ parcel .~ project is:
Greater than 300' from inventoried tidal wetlands.
Landward of a substantial man-made structure
greater than i00' zn length which was constructed przor to September 20, 1977.
Landward of the lOt above mean sea level elevation contour on a gradual,
natural slops.
Landward of the topographic crest of a bluff, cliff or dune which is greater
than 10' mn elevation above mean sea level.
Listed in Part 661.5 of 6NYCRR (Tidal Wetlands Land Use Regulations) as a use
not requiring a permit or notification letter approval.
Therefore, no permit is required under the Tidal Wetlands Act (Article 25 of the
Envzronmental Conservatzon Law). Please be advzsed, however, that no constructmon,
sedimentation or dzsturbance of any kznd may take place seaward of the I0~ contour or
topographic crest without a permit. It zs your responsibility to ensure that all
necessary precautions are taken to prevent any sedimentation or other alteratmcn er
dmsturbance to the ground surface or vegetation in thms area as a result of your pro-
~ect. Such precautions may include providzng adequate work area between the 10' con-
tour or topographic crest and the project (i.e. a 15' to 20' mzde construction area)
or erectmon of a temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
Please note that any additmonal work, or modification to the project as described,
may require authorization hy this Department. Please contact th~s office if such
are contemplated.
Please be further advmsed that thzs letter does not relieve you of the responsibzlity
of obtazning any necessary permits or approvals from other agencies.
