The surface has been regraded and is of uniform approval. Present trees and vegetation prevents traffic from leaving R.O.W. and should be maintained at its present condition with controlled vegetation maintaince to allow emergency vehicles proper passage. Timber guide rails should be considered at 1.5 feet from road edge, as recommended by engineer but not considered mandatory. Again, I would recommend approval of this R.O.W. subject to maintaining it at its present condition with periodical malnta~nce on vegetation so as not to interfere with emergency vehicles. This should be automatically part of ~ts present accepted condition. There is not much crowning in the stone throughout and in some areas the szdes are not uniform in elevation. I call your attention to the right side of the road between lengths 540 ft.± and 700 ft. from Soundvzew Avenue where there is hardly any shoulder width. The exlstzng ground slopes down at estzmated slopes of 1 on 2± to levels from 2 ft. to 5 ft. below the road edge. Would recommend placing shoulder material for a 3 ft. width in the above noted area. Also a timber guide rail could be conszdered at 1.5 ft. from the road edge.
