a Notice of Disapproval dated July 28, 1987 for a deck attached
to the newly constructed dwelling structure.
The applicant has infomed our office that the subject deck and
porch areas are conforming as exist.
Please provide us with copies of all documents in the above
Permit File and Road File, and copy of the sketch showing the
areas disapproved for this Board's jurisdiction (if available)
since the map submitted to our office by the applicant does not
furnish same.

Inspection of R.O.W. for Gretchen Helgl
July 22, 1987
In reference to your memo requesting an inspection of
a R.O.W. f~r the Gretchen Heigl property, I went out this
morning at 10:20. The surface has been regraded and is
of uniform approval. Present trees and vegetation prevents
traffic from leaving R.O.W. and should be maintained at its
present condition with controlled vegetation maintaince to
allow emergency vehicles proper passage. Timber guide rails
should be considered at 1.5 feet from road edge, as recommended
by engineer but not considered mandatory. Again, I would
recommend approval of this R.O.W. subject to maintaining
it at its present condition with periodical malnta~nce
on vegetation so as not to interfere with emergency vehicles.
This should be automatically part of ~ts present accepted
condition.

Made an inspection of the above access road as follows:
Wheel measured length, widths and depth of stone course from
Soundvlew Avenue to existing house entrance in lot No. 1.

The gradingland wldenzng of the existing road prior to placing
the stone top course could have been done better. There
is not much crowning in the stone throughout and in some
areas the szdes are not uniform in elevation.
I call your attention to the right side of the road between
lengths 540 ft.± and 700 ft. from Soundvzew Avenue where
there is hardly any shoulder width. The exlstzng ground
slopes down at estzmated slopes of 1 on 2± to levels from
2 ft. to 5 ft. below the road edge. Would recommend placing
shoulder material for a 3 ft. width in the above noted area.
Also a timber guide rail could be conszdered at 1.5 ft. from
the road edge.
Would also recommend inspection by the Building Inspector
przor to fihal approval of this access road.
