STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces- sary HARDSH I P because when applic ante ons truc ted and loe a ted the building, it was with the intention of dividing his property on the east side of Deep Hole Drive in 75 foot lots. Applicant is now required to leave a 100 foot plot between this. and his southerly bounda'l7. . . 2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by 011. properties olike in. the immediate vicinity of this property and in this use district because the other properties in this immediate vicinity all had houses erected on individual lots purchased by the owners. 3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because many of the houses in the Dildersleeve development, south of applicant's property, are on 50 foot lots with less than 10 feet side yards since they were constructed prior to the enactment of the zoning ordinance.
