STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces- sary HARDSHIP because it would prohibit the maintenance of the necessary equipment on the site nOW being used. 2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in this use district because of the type of installation now on the s~te and the further fact that the tests now being conducted on the site are the only ones of like nature being conducted on Long Island. 3. The Varionce would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because it is of a temporary nature and does not afEect surrounding properties.
