(Continue on other side)
REASON FOR APPEAL
Contii\Ued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sary HARDSHIP because the dwelling was built prior to zoning laws and
installation of cesspool and lines require building of garage to be
kept as far to north as possible. It is proposed to build an addition
on the south side of the dwelling in the near future. In order to keep
straight driveway and clear chimney it is necessary to reduce north
line to 2 feet.
~
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because this is the only dwelling on the
north end or Madison street and was built prior to zoning regulations.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT becouset:his property adjoins Fleetfield Subdivision
where there are similar conditions. This being residential area there
would be no change or harm in the character of the neighborhood.
