After investiqation and inspection the Board tinda that this residence is located on Which was formerly the only hiqb ground on this property. Subsequently the meadow section which comprises the major part of the lot was partially filled. At very high tide the entire lot with the exception of the knoll where the house 18 located 18 flooded. The applicant seeks a variance so that he may construct a garage and shower room and utility room attached to the southerly aide of hi. dwelling. This i. a unique situation and in the opinion of the Board an unnece..ary hardship would be created if the appeal were denied, as a practical difficulty would enter into the situation as on any other site the structure would necessarily be elevated beyond a usable floor level.
