() It is proposed to build a bedroom and bath on the existing dwellir
on above described premises. It is impossible to maintain the required
sideyarc as the present dwelling was built before zoning ordinano&
was adopted, and the layout of the dwelling is such that the required

REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP because, of the
fact the house was built on th~ lot of 95 ft frontage and over 12,500 sq ft
of area long before the present regulations were adopted. It is now
necessary to enlarge the dwelling, the layout of rooms being such that
the addition must be on the westerly side of the house where it i*
impossible to k8ep the required 10 ft sideyard. The lot lines run at an
angle to the street, the house is setback aproximately 150ft, and the
next house on the west is aproximately 40 ft or more from the property line

CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because' There are other residences in this area that
haveless sideyard that the three ft minimum requested for this dwelling.
The use now is residential, and the proposed use will be continued residen
tial, there will be nochange or harm to the charicter of the neighborhood.

At a meeting of the Board on Decelllber 5th we
carefully investigated the pos.ibility ot reopening
this hearing with the view to changing our decision,
