(two face) on the roof of the front extension of our business building located on the south side of the Main,Road near the railroad overpass at Greenport, L. I. This sign would take the place of a wall sign permitted by Article IV, Section 408 of the Town Ordinance. This request is made due to the fact that the building is set at an angle to the road. Said road having been shifted to the west in recent improvement and widening program. A wall sign as permitted would be invisible for traffic from the west. The sign requested does not project beyond the building line and would be visible by traffic from both directions. This sign will also mplace a sign which existed prior to the enactment of the Zoning Ordinance and was used by the former occupant of the building.
