The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit. d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Penny, 3rd Mattituck, Mew York Dear Mr. Penny: We are not scheduling your application To. 373 acting for James Mulvihillfor a special exception to expand a non-conforming use, because of the fact the property ie now in v tolation of the Zoning Ordinance for reason of the construction of a second new cabin in addition to the one on ~ich permission was granted for construction August 1960. Neither building has a building permit and the newest building did not have a special exception authorized. Ignorance of the Zoning Ordinance can hardly be pleaded as a defense since the same excuse was offered in applying for a special exception last August on the building which was authorized after it had been con- structed.
