The public had access to view and listen to the meeting as it was happening via Zoom. However, this meeting was not a public hearing and no testimony was solicited or received. Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Elizabeth Sakarellos, Sr. Office Assistant Nicholas Planamento, Vice Chair Donna Westermann, Office Assistant Eric Dantes, Member John Burke, Acting Town Attorney Patricia Acampora, Member Rob Lehnert, Member 4:02 P.M. Chairperson Weisman opened the meeting in order to call for Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). EXECUTIVE SESSION: 4:02 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to enter into Executive Session in order to receive Attorney Advice. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson) Dantes Planamento Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). Minutes of ZBA November 17,2022 Special Meeting Page 2 5:00 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to exit Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Lehnert, Planamento, and Acampora. (This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). WORK SESSION: Began at 5:03 PM A. Requests from the Board Members for future agenda items. B. The Board discussed upcoming Training. C. The Board reviewed Deminimus Approval and Extension Requests. POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARING: 5:06 P.M. LEE AND LILI SIEGELSON#7702 -Request for Variances from Article XXIII, Section 280- 124; and the Building Inspector's June 23, 2022 Notice of Disapproval based on an application for a permit to construct additions and alterations to an existing single family dwelling, at; 1) located less than the code required minimum side yard setback of 10 feet (both side yards); 2) located less than the code required minimum combined side yard setback of 25 feet; 3) located less than the code required minimum rear yard setback of 35 feet; 4) more than the code permitted maximum lot coverage of 20%; located at: 2046 Peninsula Road, Fishers Island,NY. SCTM No. 1000-5-2-2. RESOLUTION: A motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to CLOSE HEARING and RESERVE DECISION. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). DANNY VITALE#7658SE - Applicant requests a Special Exception under Article III, Section 280-13B(13). The Applicant is owner of subject property requesting authorization to establish an Accessory Apartment in an existing accessory structure; at: 7125 Main Bayview Road, Southold,NY. SCTM#1000-78-7-32.12. RESOLUTION: A motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to CLOSE HEARING and RESERVE DECISION. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS: 5:07 P.M. Agenda items and commenced deliberations on the following applications. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). GRANT RELIEF AS AMENDED WITH CONDITIONS: Amos and Courtney Meringer#7716 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Lehnert, and Acampora. This Resolution was duly adopted 5-0). GRANT RELIEF AS APPLIED WITH CONDITIONS: Glendon and Mindy Homer#7696 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Lehnert, and Acampora. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0) (Member Planamento Recused). Lee and Lili Siegelson#7702 Charlotte Greene#7703 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). GRANT IN PART WITH CONDITIONS/DENY IN PART: Joseph and Darla Doorhy#7698SE Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted ,5-0). RELIEF TABLED: Vasilis and Christina Fthenakis#7559 Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0). Minutes of ZBA November 17,2022 Special Meeting Page 4 RESOLUTIONS: RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to authorize advertising of hearings for the Regular Meeting to be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, which will commence at 9:00 AM for Executive Session and 10:00 A.M. for Regular Meeting. Meeting to be held at the Recreational Center at 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman (Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Planamento to approve Minutes from the Regular Meeting held November 3, 2022. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson), Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (5-0). • RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to approve a One Year Extension for Appeal No. 7300, Patric Naglieri and Margaret McConnell, 9955 Soundview Avenue, Southold,NY. SCTM No. 1000-59-2-5 to expire on October 10, 2023. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Member Weisman(Chairperson Dantes, Planamento, Acampora and Lehnert.
