Notice of Hearing
Pursuant to section 267 of ~e Town Law and the provisions
of the Amended Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of southold,
Suffolk County, New York, pUblic hearings will be held by the
zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Southold at the Town Office,

INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted in duplicate to the Building
Inspector.
b. Plot plan snowing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of thi, applica-
tion.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in po rt for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.

Enclosed please find an application for your front wall
sign permit, it is nearly complete except for the dimentions and your
signature in t.. places1arked with an X. All signs require permits
in the business district, Fee for sane is 10~ per Rq ft of overall
area.
Also enclosed is a notice of violation for the wall sign
on your north side wall. Side '.1'111 signs are not permitted except by
spec:l.al e.caption from the Board of Appeals. I believe papers were
picked up to apply for the exception b)lt we have not rpceived them yet,
and if you do apply I would suggest that you ask to substitute the
north wall si~n for a permitted ground sign as you do not have sufficient
room to meet the ~round sign setback re1uirements.
