Subsection ....... ~ ....... paragraph ................ of the Zoning Ordinance, and the decision of the Building Inspector (X) be reversed ( ) be confirmed because: This is an application for a special exception to erect and maintain a miniature golf course with related facilities approximately 160 feet from the Main Road property line directly in the rear of the existing restaurant and residence. At the present time two access driveways exist. The proposed enterprise will occupy a plot approximately 100 ft. by lO0 ft. and will consist of the usual equipment. It will be properly enclosed and the proposed lighting will not create a traffic hazard. (OVER) 2. VARIANCE. After inspection and investigation the Board feels that this enterprise meets all the requirements for thee special exception and should b~ granted with the condition that sub- stantial construction be completed within 12 months from the date of this resolution. Therefore it was RESOLVED that Harry Pumillo, Jr. be granted permission to erect and maintain a miniature golf course on property located on the south side of Main Road, Cutchogue, New York. Substantial construction must be completed within 12 months from the date of this resolution. 7:30 P.M. That said premises are zone business and consist approximately of ~ of an acre. That said miniature golf course with more than adequate off- street parking facilities would be provided as sho~rn in the print of survey attached to this application. That suitable ingress and egress would be provided to the general public as users of the course, in that by virtue of the terms of the lease dated the 15~ day of March, 1962, a copy of which is hereto affixed, your deponent, as lessee, is granted rights sufficient to provide all facilities necessary ~x~x~Kx~ for the protection and welfare of the public. That said miniature golf course would be of advantage to the area, in that it would provide wholesome recreation to its residents, and at the same time assist in attracting new business to the area which would benefit the entire community. That said miniature golf course would neither be offensive nor a nuisance, and therefor, your petitioner respectfully requests that his said application to erect said miniatur~golf course be approved.
