REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sary HARDSHIP because side lines at the front end of the building are in
compliance with existing zaning regulations, however, because of the fact that
the property is narrower at the rear, this places one corner af the building
in violation.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because the particular dimensions of the
plot arid house involved apply only in this instance.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because the general architecture and construction details
are in conformance with the surrounding: houses. There is still ample space (in
excess of ~&I between buildings, on the side in question) and the technicality of
the violation is impossible ~o detect from the physical appearance of the dwelling
and property in questionf.c'Ml! only be determined by close examination of the survey.
I~ is the opinion of the applicant that granting of the variance would not be
injurious to any neighbor or the community in general in any manner whatever.
