The inspection covered the footings for the proposed replacement of the existing deck structure. The areas inspected included the existing footings of the existing deck. The inspection results are: Items inspected included footing depth, size and position. The footings were found to be functioning as designed, compliant with the codes and capable of being used for the deck replacement. The deck is being replaced in-kind and the footings will function in the same manner as currently designed and used. Result—Based upon inspection of this project and to the best of my knowledge, belief and professional judgment, the existing footings are adequate for use with the deck replacement. Nicholas J.
