is requested for the reason that: There is an existing residence on the lot in question
that is located so as to preclude the building o. the proposed office
building; even though there is ample area for the two buildings according
to the requirements of the ordinance.

REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
sary HARDSHIP because: There are 27, 795 sq ft P/M area in this lot, which
ismuch more total area than is required by the ordinance for the two
bUildings. The location of the present dwelling is such that the new
proposed office building will not leave the required open spaces for
the front yard of the dwelling.
The cost of moving the existing dwelling would be excessive, and
the the re location would not in any way help to improve on the intent
of or the spirit of the ordinance requirements.
The proposed new building will not in any way detract from the
business district in which it is to be located.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by 011 properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because: This is the largest single
lot in this block that has area for another business building.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because: This is an intensly used business distri<tt
and the new building will be an assett to the community, and will
in no way harm or change the business district.

Inspector.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this application.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
