(E.D.S,T. ) , upon application of William and Regina Victoria, Bayview Road, Southold, New York, for a special exception in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 300, Subsection 11, for permission to erect a directional sign on the property of H. B. Robinson. Location of property: north side Route 25, East Cutchogue, New York, bounded north by Long Island Railroad, east by Stanley Rysko, south by Main Road, west by J. Brynda. 2. VARIANCE. By resolution of the Board it was determined that (a) Strict application of the Ordinance, (would)(would not) produce practical difficulties or unnec- essary hardship because SEE REVERSE (o) The hardslAp created (is) (is not) unique and (would) (would not) be shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in the same use district because SEE REVERSE (c) The variance (does) (does not) observe the spirit of the Ordinance and (would) (would not) change the character of the district because SEE REVERSE and therefore, it was further determined that the requested variance ( ) be granted ( ) be denied and that the previous decisions of the Building Inspector ( ) be confirmed ( ) be reversed. Carroza, Secretary After investigation and inspection the Board finds that William and Regina Victoria wish to place a directional sign on the property of H. B. Robinson, north side Route 25, East Cutchogue, New York. Mr. Robinson has given permission to place a sign on his property. On the sign will appear the words "Victoria Motel Cottages, heated, .Bayview, Southold, and the mileage to the cottages". The Board finds that this sign will be beneficial to the traveling public in relation to places of lodging in the Town of Southold. The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use of the neighborhood property and adjoining use districts will not be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed. Therefore, it was RESOLVED that William and Regina Victoria, Bayview Road, Southold, New York, be granted permission to place a directional sign on the property of H, B. ,Robinson, located north side Route 25, East Cutchogue, New York, subject to, the following conditions: 1. The sign shall be 4' ,x 6' 2. The sign shall be placed 5 feet from any property line. 3. The sign shall be placed 3 feet from ground level. 4.
