REASON FOR APPEAL
A Variance to Section 280A Subsection 3
A Variance to the Zoning Ordinance
is requested for the reason that as the present residence islocated on Oak avenue,
Goose Bay Estates on 1/2 of lot #251 and lots ~2~2 - #253 and #254, an additional
residence is requested to be erected on 1/2 of lot #228 - J229 and #230 which is
located on Birch Avenue.
Fo~n ZB! (Continue on other side)
REASON FOR APPEAL
Continued
1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces-
so'ry HARDSHIP because prospective sale of property cannot be consumated without
permission for a variance being granted at this time. The majority of residences
in this development have less area than the request herein being made. Several
have considerably less.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property and in this use district because it is fronting on two roads, n~uaely
0a~: and Birch Avenues.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because ~ other residences are built on simt]ar
plots adjacent to and in the same area on the filed subdivision map of Goose
Ba~ Estates.
