This is to notify you that there will be a public hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the
Town of Southold on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:40 P.M. that will be held both in person at
Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold,New York 11971-0959 AND via ZOOM WEBINAR
with a link to the ZOOM WEBINAR to be available at http://southoldtownny.gov/calendar.aspx. The
purpose of the hearing is to consider KCE NY 26 LLC's request for a Special Exception pursuant to Article
XV, Code Section 280 -62B(5) to construct and allow for public utility structures and uses; i.e., battery
energy storage system facility.
A copy of the Site Plan showing the proposed improvements has been enclosed herewith,together
with a copy of the Town's Laserfiche/Weblink,which allows all persons to review the pending application
at:b-q://24.38.28.228:2040/weblink/Browse.aspx?dbid=0. Further,the public may also contact the Zoning
Board of Appeals staff by telephone at 631-765-1809 or email at kimfnsoutholdtownn.gov or
elizabeth.sakarellos@town.southold.ny.us.
All persons interested in the subject matter will be given an opportunity to be heard as provided in
the enclosed Legal Notice of Public Hearing. Please note that if you have questions/comments regarding
this application before the public hearing, the public may submit written comments and inquiries to the
Zoning Board of Appeals by email to kimf@southoldtownny.gov or
elizabeth.sakarellosna,town.southold.ny.us OR by mail to Town of Southold, ZBA, P.O. Box 1179,
Southold,NY 11971. All written submissions should include the ZBA Application Number(7684SE and

Road, Southold, New York 11971-0959, on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1. 2022:
