PUBLIC COMMENT
J Flaumenbaum would like name plates for the Commissioners so that the public knows who
they are.
Ms. Flaumenbaum also suggested that the DEC and Town Board members should come to the
October work session to discuss Breakwater.
Mr. Von Bommel informed the Board that approximately 60 boats used the Love Lane facility
this past weekend and they appreciate the work that has been done but would like the
bathrooms to be opened on a regular basis.
N Deegan recommended to keep the bathrooms open all night on the weekends through
October. The Commissioners agreed.
D Geis asked how the kayak rental was received. There were 10 rentals for the season. If the
racks are set up and available earlier next year it is possible to have more rentals.
Ms. Geis commented that the properties look great after the landscapers have started
maintaining the grounds. She asked if the price will double for next year as they started mid-
season. The job will be put out to bid each year so the price is yet to be determined.
