Dear Mr. & Mrs. Zapf:
On April 20, 198B David S. Norton made application to con-
struct a dwelling for you on your property in Orient, N.Y.
Shortly after our review of your plans we were notified that
there was to be a change in the construction of your proposed
dwell£ng.
To date we have not received any new plans or any word from
your architect or builder. Please advise whether or not you propose
to proceed with this project. Also, what disposition ~hall we make
of the plans we are holding and the Suffolk County Health Dept.
approvals for water and sewage facilities.

This will confirm our telephone conversation today relative
tp additional information and detailing you are to furnish us
with for this project, as follows:

In the event that the building is pIaced close to the
top of the bluff~ a letter will be necessary from the owners
absolving the Building Dept. of liability should any damage
occur to the buildin~ as a result of erosion or fault that
may develop in the bluff.
I have made the calculations of floor area of building
and the fee amounts to $335.65. Upon receipt of the fore-
going, p~rmit will be issued.

a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector, with 3
sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets
or areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this appli-
cation.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issued a Building Permit to the applicant. Such permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
