BOX 728 TOWN HALL SOUTHOLD, N.Y. 11971 TEL. 765-1802 8 December 1982 To: From: Subject: George Fisher, Senior Building Inspector./ Victor Lessard, Execuitve Administrator MATTITUCK SHOPPING CENTER Reviewing the status of Mattituck Shopping Center, I find there are actions taken, with reference to building permits and C.O.'s I find appauling. To issue a permit for six (6) stores without indicating construction or type of business to occupy said stores certainly does not indicate, to me, a senior inspector is doing the proper work he was hired by the Township to do. Also, to issue one C.O. to encompass a clothing store, an office, and a place of public assembly (church) is just as mind boggling. I hereby direct you to immediately take the necessary steps to issue one permit and one Certificate of Occupancy for each store and business in said shopping center, report back to me on a daily basis, until the whole center is in proper order, and submit same to me for review. Acquire a site plan of whole center required with existing stores and a schematic of heating and sprinkler systems. .Id. '/.
