APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Instructions
A. This applicatian must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate ta the Building Inspec-
tar with the following; for new buildings ar new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate locatian of all buildings, praperty lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic features.
2. Final appraval af Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S.9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and si.milar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Cade compliance from the Architect or Engineer respansible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of campleted site plan requirements where applicable.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non.conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of peoperty showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or
topograph ic featu res.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previaus owner as ta use, accupancy and conditian of buildings.
3. Date af any hausing code or safety inspection af buildings or premises, ar other pertinent informa-
tion required to prepare a certificate.

2. Certificate of occupancy on pre-existing dwelling or land use $5.00

After investigation and 'inspection; the Board finds that the
applicant is requesting a Special Exception to the zoning Ordinance
to construct an addition in a C-Zone in order to attach the exist-
ing buildings. The applicant has confirmedtbat he will take the
small building that exists with no foundation down. The Board
does not feel that the granting of this application would set any
unusual precedence in the neighborhood, and the Board does agree
with the reasoning of the applicant.

The Board finds that strict application of the ordinance would ,
produce practical difficulties and unnecessary hardship; the hard-
ship created is unique and would not be shared by all properties
r alike in the immediate vicinity of the property and in the same

Inspector, with 3 sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale, Fee according to schedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets

i c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Penn it.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Penn it to the applicant. Such pennit

e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector,
