REGULAR MEETING
September 21, 2022 HELD IN PERSON (and via Zoom)
7:00 PM
Present: Gerard Orientale,Erick Haas,Jay Jansen, Jill Doherty, Frank Imbriano, Curtis Rand(via
Zoom) &prospective Member David Gamberg
This Regular Meeting of the Southold Town Tree Committee was called to order at 7:00 PM—this
was an in-person meeting and held via the Zoom Platform.
Discussion Items:
Jay showed us the newly designed "door hangars". Committee hopes to plant trees as early as
November this year and will start the process hopefully before Columbus Day weekend,by staking
out and putting the door hangars out. We will soon start to purchase the trees from our various
vendors. Jay recommended and will see that"tree gators" are purchased to help with tree upkeep.
All in attendance were again urged to put in their lists for planting sites. Curtis Rand requested 4-
5 small balled and burlapped trees for Fishers Island.
Prospective Member David Gamberg attended our meeting, in the hopes of being appointed to the
Committee.
We will next meet on October 19, 2022—In Person and via Zoom. This meeting was adjourned at
8:00 P.M.
