Re: Local Law in relation to Amendments to Chapters 280-111 entitled Prohibited uses in all
districts.
The Planning Board supports the proposed code amendment as consistent with the Town
Comprehensive Plan. The amendment protects the quality of life for residents and visitors by
prohibiting the use of seaplanes in town waters. Seaplanes cause noise pollution and are a
potential safety hazard in local waters.
