Instructions
This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted-~p~icctc to the Building Inspec-
tor with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equal).
3, Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1, Accurate survey of peoperty showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusua~ natural or
topographic features.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent informa-
tion required to prepare a certificate.

Dear Ed:
As per our conversation last Tuesday, I plan to build a small
tool shed in the back yard, at the above premises. The building
wilt consist of:
1. Thickened edge slab; structure anchored to slab with A.B.
2. 2 x 4 framed walls, skinned with plywood siding
3. 2 x 6 roof joists covered with ply sheathing and wood shingles
4. No electricity or water; no finish treatment on inside walls
There will be nothing unusual or out-of-the-ordinary about the
building; in fact, we aim to make it look like one of the old barn-
type buildings in the area. Enclosed is a sketch so you will have
an idea of its size and appearance.
Per your suggestion, this request for permit can be added on to
the permit for the house.

Dear George:
Re: 385 Pine Tree Rd. Ext./Cutchogue
This is to confirm our phone conversation earlier this
morning. In roughing out the house location over the weekend,
I realized that if the S.Wo corner of the house is positioned
100' from the side property line it moves the house too close
to the septic area, as spelled out by the Health Department.
Thus, please note that the house will be located as shown
on the enclosed photocopy of the topo. The S.E. corner (house
front right ) will be 100' from both the front line (Pine Tree
Rd. Ext.) and~from the side line.
This puts the S.W. corner (house front left) approximately
75' from the side line).
AS you know, the house will be "cocked" somewhat on the
property to gain sun to the greenhauSeon the backwall.

erty above captioned and discussed same at our meeting held
February 7, 1983. It was noted in the minutes that the area
was in very good condition with the exception of a few pot-
holes. As a result the following resolution was passed by
our Board.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board authorize the
Chairman to endorse approval on the final minor subdivision
map of Flora Luce & George L. Penny III at such time as the
potholes have been corrected 'to the satisfaction of the Plan-
ning Board.
