Instructions
A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate to the Building Inspec-
tor with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic features..
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-iS-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of peoperty showing a~l property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or
topographic features.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent informa-
tion required to prepare a certificate·

Re: Allerton Cushman
Dear Mr. Wall:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Planning Board,
Monday, November 8, 1982.
RESOLVED that whereas, a formal application for the approval of a
subdivision plat entitled "Allerton Cushman" located at
Fishers Island was submitted to the Planning Board on April 12, 1982
and, a filing fee in the amount of $50 was paid August 26, 1982, and
WHEREAS, a ~ublic hearing was held on said subdivision application
and plat at the Town Hall, Southold, New York, on September 20,1982
7:45 p.m., and
at
WHEREAS, the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of the Town
of Southold have been met by said subdivision plat and application,
NOW, therefore, be it RESOLVED that the application of "Allerton
Cushman" for approval of said subdivision plat prepared by
Chandler, Palmer & King dated March 11, 1982 , be approved and the
chairman be authorized to endorse approval on said subdivision plat
subject to the following conditions within six months from date of
resolution:
No lot shall be subdivided or its lot lines changed in
any manner at any future date unless authorized by the
Southold Town Planning Board.

NO new residential structure of sanitary disposal facility
shall be constructed or otherwise located within 100 feet
of the to~ edge of the bluff along the shoreline of Block
Island Sound.
3. Clearing ~nd cutting of vegetation within 50 feet of the
top edge ~f the bluff shall be limited to that necessary
for maintenance.
4. No grading shall be permitted within 50 feet of the top
edge of the bluff except that that may be necessary to
control o~ remedy erosion or to prevent stormwater from
flowing over the edge of the bluff.
5. No stormwater runoff resulting from the development and
improvement of the subdivision or any of its lots shall
be discharged down the face of the bluff in any manner.
6. There shall not be any struoture providing access to the
beach constructed on the faoe of the bluff as is shown
on the subdivision map. Access to the beach shall be
limited t~ the flatter areas along the shoreline of each
lot.
The abovel conditions shall be filed as covenants and re-
strictions in the office of the County Clerk on or prior
to the granting of approval to this subdivision.
This subdTvision will meet the requirements and standards
of the Suiffolk County Department of Health Services
Prior to the Chairman endorsing his approval, please forward to this
office four (4) c~pies of the final map, a copy of the filed covenants
and restrictions and a copy of the Suffolk County Department of Health
Services approvalI.

Friday, October 8, 1982.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board approve the minor
subdivision of Allerton Cushman, located at Fishers Island for the
issuance of a Building Permit subject to consideration of the
Suffolk County Planning Commission's recommendations before the
issuance of a final CO.
