This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate to the Building Inspec-
tor with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with a~ccurate location of all buildings, property lines, straets,,and unusual
natural or topographic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Nomconforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of peoperty showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or
topographic featu res,
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent informa-
tion required to prepare a certificate.

Dear Sirs:
Enclosed please find copy of 4/29/82 permit application
which has been amended this day to include the items you
requested.
In addition thereto, the size of the windows is indicated
on the attached plans and the location of the well and
the cesspool are both shown on the plot diagram.
The existing heating system has been replaced with a new
electric system, The existing plumbing system has been
improved with new pipes. The existing well has been im-
proved with a new point and motor. The existing cesspool
is located 100 feet from the well point.
Based on this amended application and the above information,
we understand that a building permit may now be issued.

Decision Rendered July 29, 1982
Pursuant to your request of August 27, 1982, please consider this letter
a clarification of the board's decision rendered in the above-entitled
matter on July 29, 1982.
The board's decision as rendered and filed with the Town Clerk is not and
should not be interpreted as a subdivision of land. The variance requested
was not for an "area" variance, but rather for a "use" variance for permis-
sion to utilize the accessory building for accessory sleeping accommoda-
tions and storage (accessory to the main dwelling), and without a kitchen.
After hearing all testimony and comments at the public hearing and after
discussing this matter during deliberations, it was agreed that the appli-
cation should be granted with the condition that this~ structure remain
accessory to the main dwelling, and that if in the future applications are
granted to subdivide this property (by the Planning Board and other
departments and agencies as required by law), that a minim~ of 40,000
square feet shall apply. The 40,000 square-foot area delineated~by the
applicant on the map amended 8/12/82 and submitted for our file 8/20/82
should be considered "imaginery" at the present time. The use granted
for this structure is for sleeping quarters (not as a dwelling unit) and
is accessory to the main dwelling on this entire 2.979-acre parcel.
Also, this structure should not be treated as a principal dwelling;
however, it is the opinion of this board that the electrical, sewage
and water systems be approved by the local agencies for the use granted
in the variance appeal.
