A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate to the Building Inspec-
tor with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"_
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of peoperty showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or
topographic featu res.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings.

less than 2/10 of i% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and.similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to April 9, i957) non-conforming uses, 'or buildings and
"pre-existing" land uses:

2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect si~o~ned by the applicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building inspector shall state the

Dear Mr. Ward:
At a regular meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board, Monday,
May 10, 1982 the following actions were taken:
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board override Suffolk
County Planning recommendation number two, dated March 4, 1982 re-
garding the minor subdivision entitled Charles E. & Beatrice T. Ward~
located at Southold.
RESOLVED that whereas, a formal application for the approval of a
subdivision plat entitled Minor Subdivision of Charles E. & Beatrice T.
Ward was submitted to the Planning Board on December 11, 1981 and an
application fee of $50 was paid on April .15, 1982, and
WHEREAS, a public hearinq was held on the map of said subdivision at
the Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York, on March 22, 1982 at
7:45 p.m., and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of the Town
of Southold have been met by said subdivision plat and application,
NOW, therefore, be it RESOLVED that the application of Charles E. &
Beatrice T. Ward for approval of said subdivision plat prepared by
Charles E. Ward be approved and the chairman be authorized to endorse
appr.o~al on said subdivision plat subject to meeting the conditions
numbered 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Suffolk County Planning Depart-
ment dated March 4, 1982, and the construction of a dwelling to be no
closer than 37 feet from the edge of the bank.

Dear Mr. Raynor:
The Suffolk County Planning Conm~ission at its regular meeting on March 3,
1982, reviewed the proposed subdivision plat entitled, "Minor Subdivision -
Beatrice T. & Charles E. Ward", referred to it pursuant to Section 1333 of the
Suffolk County Charter. After due study and deliberation it resolved to approve
said map subject to the following seven conditions deemed necessary to help pre-
serve the natural and aesthetic attributes of the shoreline of Shelter Island
Sound:
No lot shall be subdivided or its lot lines changed in any manner
at any future date unless authorized by the Southold Town Planning
Board.

No stormwater runoff resulting from the development and improvement
of the subdivision or any of its lots shall be discharged down the
face of the bank in any manner or discharged directly into Shelter
Island Sound.
Clearing and cutting of vegetation within 50 feet of the top edge
of the bank shall be limited to that necessary for maintenance.

No sanitary disposal facility shall be installed or constructed with-
in 100 feet of the top of the bank.,
No grading shall be permitted within 50 feet of the top edge of the
bank except that that may be necessary to control or remedy erosion
or to prevent stormwater from flowing over the edge of the bank.

application was held on October 21,
Upon application of CHARLES AND BEATRICE WARD, 1610 Paradise Point
Road, Southold, NY for a Variance to the Zoning Ordinance, Article III,
Section 100-32 for permission to retain present location of accessory
storage building in the frontyard area. Location: 1610 Paradise Point
Road, Southold, NY; more particularly identified as Suffolk County Tax
Map Parcel No. 1000-081-03-part of 19.1.
The board made the following findings and determination:
By this appeal, appellants seek permission to retain the present
location of the accessory storage building roughly 12 feet from the
northeasterly side property line and roughly 105 feet in front of
the dwelling location. The property in question contains an area of
three acres and a road frontage of 231.52 feet. The board finds that
the accessory building in question appeared to have been used for
dwelling purposes more than two years hence and is proposed at this
time for storage purposes accessory to the proposed dwelling. The
board has also found that the foundation for the proposed dwelling
has been constructed and the remainder of this parcel is vacant.
It is the opinion of the board that the relief requested is reasonable
under the circumstances.
In considering this appeal, the board determines the variance
request will not cause detriment to adjoining properties; that the
circumstances herein are unique; that the difficulty cannot be
obviated by a method, feasible to appellants, other than a variance;
that no adverse effects will be produced on available governmental
facilities of any increased population; that the relief requested
will be in harmony with and promote the general purposes of zoning;
and that the interests of justice will be served by allowing the
variance as indicated below.
On motion by Mr. Sawicki, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was
RESOLVED, that Appeal No. 3039, application of CHARLES AND
BEATRICE WARD for permission to retain accessory storage building
in the frontyard area, be and hereby IS APPROVED, SUBJECT TO THE
FOLLOWING CONDITION:
