APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
Instructions
A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate to the Building Inspec-
tor with the following; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic featu res.
2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable.
For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing"
land uses:
1. Accurate survey of peoperty showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or
topographic features.
2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings,
3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent informa-
tion required to prepare a certificate.

RESOLVED that the Southold Town Planning Board approve
Inspector Davis' report ~249 regarding the roads located
within the subdivision of Walter Washburn Estate at East
Marion.

Minor ~136 subdivisions in East Marion.
Marion Lane is 20 ft.v_ in ~idth and consdsts of Well stabilized medium size and
fine gravel. Marion Road varies from 9 ft. ~of4 ft. in ~d~ with the s~ne kind
of material.~ these private roads are in acceptable condition fc~ ~ergenc~
vehicles.
~he owner of Lot M3 (Washburn Minor ~136) showed me concrete markers, one at the
end of Marion Place and one at his south property line, denoting th~ c~ter line
of a 15 ft. R.O.W. going through his property to Lot M2 in the saue subdivision.
~his R.O.W. i's in a well kept fairly level law area with no a~par~ent drainage
problem.
Reco~uendations for extending Marion Place %~ Lot M2:
1. Road width 15 ft.
2. Remove topsoil and loam for a depth of 12".

Replace the topsoil and loam excavation with 12" of campacted medium size
and fine gravel as used in the other t~ private roads. It may be necessary
to place a thin layer of loam on the gravel surf~e to prevent raveling.

BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of a r{ght of way
formerly owned by the Estate of Walter W. Washburn and now owned by
the Marion Road Association, Inc., said point of beginning being at
the southerly end of a private road'known as Marion Place and being
distant from the intersection of the southerly line of said right
of way of the Marion Road Association, Inc., and known as Marion
Lane with the westerly line of Bay Avenue the following two

1) South 56 degrees 35 minutes 20 seconds West 293.01 feet along
the southerly line of Marion Lane; and 2) South 34 degrees 12
minutes 40 seconds East 300.00 feet along the easterly line of
Marion Place.
RUNNING THENCE from said point of beginning through the premises
now owned by Edward F. Pohlig and Margaret E. Pohlig South 34
degrees 12 minutes 40 seconds East 152.08 feet to the above
described parcel; THENCE along said parcel the following two
courses:
1) South 55 degrees 47 minutes 20 seconds West 25.00 feet; and
2) North 34 degrees 12 minutes 40 seconds West 152.43 feet to aaid
right of way owned by the Marion Road Association, Inco, and k~own
