Instructions
A. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and subr~itted in duplicate to the Building Inspec-
tor with the folJowing; for new buildings or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual
natural or topographic features.
2. Final approval of Health Dept, of water supply and sewerage disposal-(S-9 form or equal).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installa-
tions, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building.
5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan re~luircments Where applicable.

Dear Mr. Gunther:
In receipt of your letter dated February 16, 1982,
relative to this permit:
This does not cover the energy requirements as we would
like to have them.
The sun room has a lot of glass and this addition would
not conform to the Energy Code. Therefore, please calculate
the entire building with the additions for compliance to the
Energy Code under Section E 402 and Table 4-1 and submit
calculations for our file.
If the
permit will

on behalf of Andrew ~. ~cGowan for his house at ~'aiz~vay
Drive. Architectural plans ~l ~nd~2, dated Dec. lC, 1981,
which I prepared, had been reviewed by you and Approved as
~oted on Jan. 6, 1982. Permit ~11533Z was assigned.
The additional construction will conform to the requirements
of the ~ew York State Energy Conservation Construction Code.

~our consideration is requested to include the Sun Room,
complete with the wi~dows as shown for this Permit. The
area of windows, when the entire house is analyzed as above
(please also see the plans dated 7/1/75 which shew the
original design~ does fall within Code required area.
The 'U" vaD~e for these windows would be 0.58; infiltration
would be 0.5. The Sun Room is intended to function as
wazm~ weather sit~i~g area.
T~ Dining Room as existing has an area of 119 s.f. The
new constz~ction will not c~mse this room to lose its natural
light and ventilation. Please confirm if a skylight mmst
be added to fulfill 'this requirement.
