THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION IS REQUESTED BECAUSE the applicant, by agreement
with the Mattituck Park District is installing a coastal harbor
radio-telePhone receiving station in the property of the Mattituck
park district, known as Mattituck Veterans' Memorial Park, as
shown on attached Sketch "A".
This station and equipment will be of the most modern type
for ship to shore telephonic communications, and will be of
great aid to ~hip operators along the shores of Southold Town and
Long Island.
