REASON FOR APPEAL ( ) A Variance to Section 280A Subsection 3 (X) A Variance to the Zoning Ordinance ( ) is requested for the reason that: It has become necessary to make some alterations and build an addition on an existing dwelling. Said dwelling sets at an angle to the property lines at N/W corner it is about 3ft to the line. The addition on the sout~erly side would come within 13ft P/M of the southerly line at it s/E corner there by making an insufficient sideyard. The lot is 75 ft wide and 290 ft deep, the house was built before 195? thus causing a hardship under present regulat~ons. Form ZBl (Continue on other side) REASON FOR APPEAL Continued 1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties or unneces- sary HARDSHIP because: The dwelling was built at an angle to the lot lines, (dwelling built before 1957) on a 75ft wide lot thereby creating a hardshiu under present regulations in making the required side yards. . , one corner of the proposed addition will protrude about 2 ft into the required side yard on southerly side. 2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shored by vicinity of this property and in this use district because; 011 properties alike in the immediate this is a long narrow lot that slopes in at least two directions and faces a stone wall on the souhherly side. Said stone wall being a retaing wall on the adjoining lot. 3.
