REASON FOR APPEAL

1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce practical difficulties-or u..neces-
sa'ry-HARDSHIPb~~ause the parcel in question is land-locked and cannot
be extended in any direction. The surrounding area is primarily
summer residences on plots less than 12,500 square feet and the
parcel in question is suitable only for use of a summer bungalow
or cottage.
2, The hardship created is UNIQUE arid 'is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity ,of this property and in this use district because this parcel is a land-look'ed
parcel-some 230 f-eet distant from -the nearest roadway.-

3, The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because many of the bungalows in the surrounding
area are on plots less than 12,500 square feet, irregular in shape.
The area is primarily one of summer bungalows and the parcel in question
is only suitable for the same use.
