THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION YAM ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HEI 1~ ON' NO¥15%lBER 25. ~997:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southoid hereby adopts
the following TOWN POLICY ON STREET UGHT PLA~:
Street lights may be situated a{ong public roads with~,n the Town and
on Town right-of-ways in those locations where they are deemed
necessary for traffic safety at the recommendation of the
Superintendent of Highways. At the recommendation of the Chief of
Police, the Town Board will consider placement of strut lights as a
deterrent in areas where crime threatens l~he public safety.
