THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE
SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD AT A REGULAR MEETING HELD ON MARCH 10, 1992:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby adopts the
following policy:
OPERATIONS POLICY FOR THE SOUTHOLD TOWN RECREATION DEPARTMENT
Intent: To provide educational, recreational and leisure activities
which will give maximum benefit to Southold Town residents.
To utilize, at maximum capacity, the facilities and monies

Activities will be

review by the Recreation Committee and
Town Insurance Consultant.
Instructors/leaders will be sought through public
advertisements, and will be subject to the approval of the
Town Board.
Salaries, hours, etc. will be recommended by the Town
Board by the Recreation Committee, in consultant with the
Recreation Supervisor.
