ADOPTED A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE FOLLOWING POLICY: POLICY WITH RESPECT TO LATENESS RESOLVED that when an employee is absent without autl~r/zation for any length of time, no matter how de minimis, and where the relevant department head determines that there is no satisfactory excuse or legitimate explanation, the employee shall not be compensated for such period of lateness, and a corresponding deduction shall be made against the pay period during which the absence occurs; said determination shall be reduced to writing by the department head.
