(E.S.T. ) , Upon application of-Caberon Properties, Inc. , Cutchogue, New York, fora special exception in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance, Article III, Section 300; Subsection 11, and Article IV, Section 408, Subsection (a) , for permission to erect a directional sign. Location of property: south side Main Road, Cutchogue, New York, bounded north by Main Road, east by J. Hand, south by J. Sommer, and west by J. Sommer. 2. VARIANCE. Request permission to erect a directional sign on the property of Edward J, and Jean A. Munson. Said owners of the property have given the applicant written permission to erect a sign on their property. The Board finds that this sign will be advertlAing a Par 3 golf course situated in Cutchogue. It is the policy of the Board to grant directional signs which guide the traveling public to places of lodging, eating, amusement areas, Marinas, churches, etc. The Board finds that the public convenience and welfare and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted use of neighborhood property and adjoining use districts w,ill ,not be permanently or substantially injured and the spirit of the Ordinance will be observed. Therefore it was RESOLVED that Caberon Properties, Inc. , Cutchogue, New York, be granted pennission to erect a sign on the property of Edward J. and Jean A. Monson. Location of property: south side of the Main Road, Cutchogue, New York. T§As special exception is granted subject to the following conditions: 1. The sign shall be no larger than 4' by 61 . 2. The sign shall be located in the westerly part of the property. 3. The sign shall be located five (5) feet from any property line. 4. The sign shall be three (3) feet above ground level. 5. If and then the Town establishes a uniform procedure for signs, this sign will not be excluded. r . It is intended that the sign for which a permit to erect is requested, shall be 1'lell within a defined limit of the ordinance, and constructed so as to blend with the decor of the community. The said si~n is to be erected at the approximate site designated as "X. on the plot sketch set forth on the application for a permit. Tne sign on both sides will have drawn thereon a golf ball with appropriate lettering intended to direct the general public to the site of the course. It is expected that the sign will measure 4 feet in height and 6 feet in width, and the bottom of the sign will stand not less than 3 feet off the ground.
